Join us for an inspiring day of culture, history, and exceptional cuisine!
Our journey begins with a visit to the Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History, a celebrated institution dedicated to sharing the true and powerful stories of Jewish life in America. Through compelling exhibits and meaningful narratives, you’ll explore the experiences, traditions, and contributions that have shaped generations of American Jews.
You’ll have ample time to enjoy the museum’s galleries from 12:00 – 4:30 pm. Feel free to bring a snack for the bus or enjoy lunch at a nearby café if you prefer something more substantial before dinner.
Following our museum visit, we are delighted to enjoy a four-course dinner at Zahav, one of Philadelphia’s most acclaimed restaurants known for its modern Israeli cuisine.
Participants will select one of three entrée options when registering:
- Slow-Roasted Lamb Shoulder
- Grilled Eggplant
- Smoked Chicken
The meal includes four signature courses, In The Beginning, Mezze, Al Ha’esh, and Ha’Sof. While the restaurant is not kosher, our dinner will be kosher-style, with no dairy included.
We will depart the JCC at 11:00 am and return home around 8:30 pm, following dinner at approximately 7:30 pm.
Don’t miss this enriching and delicious day of culture and community!
