Dave Goldstein is a dedicated advocate for inclusion and a passionate leader in the South Jersey endurance community. As the South Jersey Ambassador for Ainsley’s Angels of America, Dave works tirelessly to ensure individuals of all abilities have the opportunity to experience the joy and empowerment of endurance events. Through his leadership, he has helped build awareness and foster meaningful connections within the special needs community, promoting inclusion in all aspects of life.
For years, Dave participated in countless Atlantic City Marathon Race Series events, running alongside his beloved son, Josh, who was one of the inspiring riders in a racing chair. Together with Team Josh and other riders, they embodied the spirit of perseverance, teamwork, and the power of inclusion. This year, Dave carries forward his son’s legacy, continuing to advocate for athletes of all abilities and ensuring that every individual has the chance to be part of the race.
His dedication to this mission has earned him the Broken Glass Award, which he will receive at the JCC’s 10th Annual Jackie and Hank Herskowitz Sports Night on Thursday, July 17. This honor recognizes individuals who shatter obstacles, create opportunities, and inspire others through their actions.
With a heart for service and a deep commitment to inclusion, Dave continues to pave the way for athletes of all abilities, honoring his son’s memory with every stride and ensuring that no one is left behind at the finish line.
