Whether you seek gentle water aerobics or high-energy aqua Zumba, our classes cater to a range of interests. For your convenience, class times can be found on our pool schedule linked below. It’s worth noting that all our aquatic fitness classes are included with your membership, making it easier than ever to stay fit and have a splashing good time in the process!
Class Descriptions
Aqua Interval Challenge
Aerobic activities mixed with high-energy anaerobic training. Easy to follow – challenge your workout and improve overall fitness. All levels welcome!
Water Wellness
This class* is perfect for the beginner to intermediate. Those with risk factors and/or injuries are encouraged to take this class. The focus is on moderate fluid movements that incorporate ROM (Range-of-Motion) exercises, resistance and flexibility while paying special attention to those at risk. This class is offered in the shallow end, which is great for beginners and those who struggle with typical day to day range of motion movements. (45 mins).
*Partially funded under Title III of the Older Americans Act of 1965, as amended, through a grant by the Division of Intergenerational Services. Donations to the program are welcome, and will be used to enhance and expand existing services.
Liquid Fitness
This class combines cardio moves and toning using a noodle or weights with a bit of balance and strength. All levels welcome!
Aqua BootCamp
High Intensity training to target every part of your body. Be prepared to sweat, even in the pool. Can be modified to all fitness levels.
Aqua Zumba
Aqua Zumba is a water-based fitness class that combines Zumba dance moves with the resistance of water. It is a fun and energetic workout that is suitable for people of all fitness levels.
Swimmers: Please note the difference between lap swim and open swim.
Lap Swim
A time set aside for lap swimming only. We encourage all swimmers, of any age to circle swim and work together during peak times. Please be considerate of swimmers already swimming and find a lane with swimmers of similar speed. Exercising or water walking is not permitted during lap swim times.
Open Swim
Open to anyone for recreational or fitness use. At this time, you have the opportunity to play, water walk, exercise or dive. Adults must accompany children under the age of 14.
